Welcome to the Computational Research Unit of the Italian Institute of Technology

The Center for Genomic Science of IIT@SEMM located in Milan, Italy, is an outstation of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia. The Center is located within a larger cancer research campus (http://www.ifom-ieo-campus.it) and benefits from state-of-the art technological platforms in molecular/cellular biology and genomics.

Our group is working on the Meta-analysis of somatic mutations in cancer with the goal of identifying driver mutations and specific mutation patterns. For this purpose, we are developing pipelines for the automatic analysis and integration of different genome-wide datasets, statistical and visualization tools, and graphical models for the analysis of genomic data..
